Cortijo el Chenil is a small rural retreat nestled at the foot of the Sierra de las Nieves, on the edge of the Beautiful white village of Casarabonela. We are surrounded by the beautiful Andalusian countryside, yet only 30 mins from the cosmopolitan city of Malaga with its many shops, bars, restaurants and fabulous beaches. If you'd prefer to explore the real Spanish countryside we are in the perfect location to get out and about with many beautiful towns and villages within easy reach and the stunning lakes at Ardales, which really are a must see, are only 25 minutes away. Or if you'd prefer to just relax in peace and tranquillity we have everything you need right here. Our Rural Retreat consists of 2 luxury self catering apartments, one with 2 bedrooms and a sofabed in the lounge, and the other with 1 bedroom and a sofabed in the lounge. All of the bedrooms can either have a superking bed or twin beds to suit your requirements. There are also superb facilities including a fabulous swimming pool, pool table, dart board and full bar which is manned by our discreet staff. We have 9 acres of land including 2 lakes, one which can be fished, there is a natural stream which runs through the middle of our land surrounded by bamboo which is a haven for wildlife and a bird watchers dream. We are ideally situated for those who enjoy cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and we are within easy reach of the famous Caminito del Rey for the more adventurous among you. There is plenty of parking for those who want to hire a car and get out and about, or we can offer airport transfers for those who just wish to relax by the pool. We live onsite so if you need us to help you sort out days out, organised tours and trips or if you just want some advice on where the best place to go out to eat is we are happy to help. We have a manned bar area with discreet staff who can either stay in the background or help out with entertainment and each apartment also has its own private terrace. Our level of involvement is completely at your discretion.
