Positive: The bed was comfortable. It has big smart tv’s in sitting room and bedroom. The inner and outer doors are combination locks so no need for keys to loose. Washing machine and the electric shutters on the patio doors were big advantages. Stocked with bed linen and bathroom towels.

Negative: 95% of tv is Spanish. There was an iron but no iron board for some strange reason? Air con doesn’t reach back bedroom so it was unbearably hot. So no information was left regarding rubbish so after enquiring I found out that In order to get rid of plastic recycling and rubbish, we had to walk a bit of a distance in the sweltering heat so wasn’t very happy there. No attempt was made to speak English with us but luckily booking.com has translating features but it didn’t always work properly so had to use google translate as well. No hair dryer and not enough cutlery and cooking utensils. Oven was not clean enough although it was nice to look at. Not enough oven utensils to cook say a pizza or chicken or other meats properly, also no pizza cutter. The QR code takes you to a Spanish website….again nothing for English speaking/reading patrons. Took a few days chasing to get proper WiFi password. Then the QR code was eventually updated to show correctly but still in Spanish. On our last day we were sent an email to fill out something but again I couldn’t read it because again it was in Spanish only which again I don’t speak or read. I’m Irish and I concluded that if the person liaising is interested in their customers and not just the money they earn from us, they should have the decency to send us something we can read and not leave it to us to “figure it out”. Finally, upon having to chase the WiFi incident, I did feel a couple of communications were slightly passive aggressive but overall, they were nice. Worst of all, the neighbours were extremely noisy, and there was arguments from neighbours late hours of the night. Cars and motor cycles revving loudly and other families being noisy like party noisy!! Thankfully I had headphones. I wouldn’t stay again for all these reasons and actually I stopped going to Spain for 26 years because we experienced people being selfish and rude and not much has changed. Back to Portugal next year
